What unfolds is a story of silence, power and the truths communities struggle to face. Through theatre, music and dance, this production brings forward voices too often unheard confronting rape culture and gender inequality within our communities.
This production reflects the lived experiences of many people and across many geographic and socio economic and cultural contexts including generational and as such may contain scenes which are triggering.
This production reflects many themes including rape culture, sexual violence, victim blaming as well as references to and mentions of rape.
This production is co-created by Drama Queens , the Frayed Jacket Creative Agency and The Good Tree. It also features the talents and efforts of Michaella Gyatsen, Sarah Elizabeth Braun, and Efe Favour (directors), Kafui Evans Ofori (musical producer) as well as Suhaidatu Dramani and Doris Odoi whose story is the framework for this production.
